Hello, I am a designer, technologist, educator, and crafter living in Brooklyn, NY.
I am interested in designing and developing both digital and physical interfaces, and I’m curious how these disciplines will overlap and evolve with the internet of things. I believe that technology should connect people, so I aim to create products that embody accessibility, usability, and emotional intelligence.
Most recently I have been researching the overlap of craft and technology – delving into the interwoven histories of these practices, developing technology for crafters, and using craft as a pathway to learning engineering and programming skills. I currently teach in the Computer Graphics department at FIT, and host regular wearable tech and soft circuitry workshops for kids and adults.
